Plot styles do not appear

Written by Allan, July 2001

Applies to:

  • AutoCAD 2006
  • AutoCAD 2007
  • Not Tested but may apply to earlier versions of AutoCAD.

My normal plot styles - also know as CTB plot styles - do not show in the plot dialog box. This is commonly found when I recieve consultant drawings from outside of my office.

The consultant is using a STB not a CTB system (style dependant style VS color dependant style). Further reading on the difference between this two can be found in the AutoCAD Help Files.

Run the CONVERTPSTYLES command to convert STB style drawings to CTB style drawings.
